We had a fantastic stay at Longacre B&B, located just a short drive away from the enchanting Buckfast Butterfly Farm. The property itself is absolutely stunning and provides a peaceful and secluded environment, perfect for a family getaway. The host, Alex, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, providing a delicious breakfast and offering helpful suggestions for activities in the area. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, while the secure parking and quiet surroundings made us feel safe and relaxed. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay near Buckfast Butterfly Farm.
My children wanted more options at breakfast for a family-friendly experience.

Location: the hotel was near facilities apart from one pub, a lovely garden and Totnes. It also was by the coast.

My stay was real good here. I was happy with hotel's exceptionally nice location close enough to everything. Location: the property was short walk to Dartmouth and great walks on Dartmoor and surrounding areas. I greatly enjoyed good-sized room with a huge bathroom and the staff were affable and welcoming.

The spacious room easily accommodated all of us, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep for everyone. The location was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to relax and unwind. The secure parking added to our peace of mind. Additionally, the proximity to Buckfast Butterfly Farm provided a fun and educational outing for the kids, within a short 15-minute drive.
In my wife's opinion, it would have been great to have a kids' play area or some outdoor activities for the children to enjoy during our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for us as it was deep into the countryside, giving us a real feel for rural Devon. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The spacious bedroom with a comfy bed and little fridge was a nice touch. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we particularly loved the homemade honey. We also appreciated having good WiFi connection throughout our stay.
The hotel could benefit from paying a bit more attention to the fine details like changing towels and keeping the rooms dust-free. However, overall, our experience at this hotel was fantastic and we will definitely be back.
